Loved Beyond Measure

Hii! I'm going to start this by saying it's definitely easy to give up, but it feels amazing knowing you don't have to be in control. In my experience surrender isn't a one and done kind of thing. It's something you have to do every day. It feels way easier to do at a church retreat in worship than the busiest week of your life, but the peace it gives you is always worth it. Starting your day by telling God you trust Him is a great way to start. It takes 2 minutes but can give you peace throughout the day. It'll feel like a chore for a bit, but once you do it for a bit, you'll get more used to doing it. Surrendering daily might go against everything you want do, but you need to kill that though and push through. It won't happen overnight, but one day you'll wake up and know it was all worth it.

Hii! We're back. Here's some things that've had my heart recently.

  1. Cereal. I've always been a cereal fan, but now since I have some in my house, I love having it.

  2. Walking. I love pairing it with a movie, so it feels like less of a chore.

  3. Reading. I went through a slump over the summer, but now that it's over I love it again.

    That's all so far. <3

Everyone gets stuck in ruts, but you can't stay there forever. Here's how to deal.

  1. Ask God to help you get up early. It doesn't have to be five in the morning, but enough to have a productive morning. Grab some food or coffee, do something to wake you up, and get into the Word.

  2. Do some housework. Whether it's cleaning your closet or doing your laundry, do something you've put off. You'll feel better.

  3. Listen to a podcast or Christian music. Whether it's upbeat or slow and chill just center yourself.

Remember it's not about perfection. Ruts can take a while to get out of, but it's always worth it. You can do it. Just lean on God.

ABOUT ISABELLA

HI! I'm Isabella. This blog is for teen girls wanting to grow their faith and have a Christian community that knows what they're going through. It's geared towards girls 11-16, but if you know somebody older or younger that could benefit, please tell them about it! I wanted to make this because there's not a ton of Christian blogs for teen girls that want some advice and to know that other girls have the same struggles. It's my hope and prayer that we can connect over some of these topics. We may not all agree on these topics, but I hope that the love of the God will brings us together.

You are altogether beautiful my darling.
There is no flaw in you.
Song of Solomon 4:7

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34
